Katya
Shirokow heads Wild Logic.
Katya is the producer of
numerous natural history
series and one-hours produced
in co-production with PBS,
National Geographic, Animal
Planet, NHK, NDR and ARTE
and others. She combines
experience in assembling
international co-productions
with over 20 years' in international
distribution of television
programming.
Katya
received her MBA degree
from the Wharton School
of the University of Pennsylvania
and her BA in classics from
St. John's College.
Wild Logic
works in partnership with
acclaimed wildlife cinematographer
Rick
Rosenthal.
Among our recent films are
HOT TUNA, SUPERFISH:BLUEFIN
TUNA and THE DARK
SIDE OF THE OCEAN. Currently,
we are in production WHALE
WISDOM, EL NINO -
THE WORLD'S WEATHER MACHINE
(working titles) and a
series about the wildlife
of California, PLANET
CALIFORNIA.
Rick
Rosenthal
earned his undergraduate
degree from Humboldt State
University, which has recently
named him a Distinguished
Alumnus, and an MS in marine
biology from California
State University in San
Diego.
We also
produce films for the advertising
campaigns of the Hobie
Cat Company
and International Expeditions.
Our work with not-for-profit
organizations includes campaign
films for the Marviva Foundation
and the Pew
Charitable Trusts.
